Wake Robin Homestead is a certified PickTN Products and Homegrown by Heroes family farm established in 2018. We are a registered trademark (TM) and limited liability company (LLC) operating in the Smoky Mountains of east Tennessee. Outside of cell reception and internet capabilities one will find our piece of Appalachia nestled against the 35 mile-long Chilhowee Mountain Range of Blount County. There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us. Whether you're in search of locally grown homestead produce, farm fresh vegetables or sustainable living we hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line. Fruits, vegetables and other produce are available from our gardens while the harvesting season permits.
We offer quality, farm fresh eggs from a variety of chickens as well as Red Golden Pheasants and Golden Manchurians & Coturnix Quail.
Note: Due to the close proximity of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park we’re unable to allow our chickens to free range. Various predators frequent our homestead daily which restricts us in the raising of our birds.
Available while resources last.
Elderberries are a rich source of vitamins A and C which are crucial in helping the body maintain optimal health. Plus, the bioflavonoids in elderberry syrup boost the body's immune system by increasing antioxidant levels and viruses that damage cell walls. A daily dose can assist in preventing both acute and chronic disease.
We offer dried Elderberries, Elderberry syrup kits and propagated cuttings.
Syrup by special request only.
Medicinal teas and cooking herbs available as well as infusions, tinctures and bath/body products.
Our garden differs from year to year so check with us for up-to-date availability and selection.
We introduced Italian Carniolan and Russian honeybees to the homestead in spring of 2019. Wake Robin is in a constant state of learning and expanding, so is our knowledge as beekeepers. We offer pure, raw unfiltered honey once our bees have enough food stores to survive the upcoming winter(s). We’re hoping to aid in recovery of the honeybee population that has been on a rapid decline since 2006 - we feel this is a direct result of industrial agriculture and pesticides.
